The Kids Ministry Assistant works with and supports the Kids Ministry Coordinator at Hillsboro. This role is responsible for supporting the vision, development, and execution of the Kids Ministry program. The assistant will participate in weekly staff meetings and special events, engage as part of a team with Athey Creek staff, and assist the Athey Kids Coordinator with class preparation and management. They will also support all aspects of the kids ministry experience under the direction of the Kids Ministry Director, assist with administrative and organizational tasks, and help welcome new families. Additional duties include keeping classroom inventory organized, assisting with curriculum preparation, helping in classrooms as needed, opening and closing classrooms, and assisting with campus-wide events. Building positive relationships with families is also a key aspect of this role.
