About The Position

The Kids Events Team Member leads children ages 3 to 13 through a variety of activities, including rock climbing, swimming, arts and crafts, and gym games. The role incorporates nutrition education into themed activities and provides children with a safe and enjoyable experience. The team member may lead groups of up to 10 children and helps maintain the cleanliness, order, and safety of activities and programming. The role also promotes monthly events and activities and ensures supplies, snacks, and drinks are used within the department’s prearranged budget.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of related experience.
• Obtain First Aid certification within the first 60 days of hire.
• Obtain Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certification within the first 60 days of hire.
• Ability to tolerate loud noises.
• Ability to frequently stand and walk; use hands, objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and climb ladders.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Engage children in interactive activities, including arts and crafts, singing, sports activities, and games, while maintaining a safe environment.
• Lead groups of up to 10 children ages 3–13 with a fun, positive, and outgoing attitude, acting as a role model.
• Demonstrate courtesy, service, cooperation, hospitality, sensitivity, and professionalism toward internal and external customers.
• Maintain the cleanliness and order of activities and programming to ensure safety.
• Promote monthly events and activities to increase participation and revenue.
• Ensure supplies, snacks, and drinks are used in accordance with the amount prearranged by the department budget.
