About The Position

The Kids Events Team Member leads children ages three to thirteen through activities such as rock climbing, swimming, arts and crafts, gym games, sports, singing, and other organized activities. The role incorporates nutrition education with themed programming and provides a safe, fun experience for children. Team members lead groups of up to 10 children, maintain clean and orderly activity areas, and promote monthly events and activities to increase participation and revenue. They also ensure that supplies, snacks, and drinks are used within the amounts set by the department budget, and demonstrate courtesy, cooperation, hospitality, sensitivity, and professionalism when interacting with internal and external customers.

Requirements

• One year of related experience.
• First Aid certification required within the first 60 days of hire.
• Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certification required within the first 60 days of hire.
• Ability to tolerate loud noises.
• Ability to frequently stand and walk; use hands, objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and climb ladders.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Engage children in interactive activities, including arts and crafts, singing, sports, and games, while maintaining a safe environment.
• Lead groups of up to 10 children ages 3–13 with a fun, positive, and outgoing attitude, serving as a role model.
• Demonstrate courtesy, service, cooperation, hospitality, sensitivity, and professionalism toward internal and external customers.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in activities and programming to ensure safety.
• Promote monthly events and activities to increase participation and revenue.
• Ensure supplies, snacks, and drinks are used according to the amounts prearranged by the department budget.
• Incorporate nutrition education into themed activities.
