About The Position

Euro School of Tennis is seeking an enthusiastic After-School Dance Teacher to lead engaging dance classes for elementary school students across various Bay Area schools. The role helps children ages 5–10 build confidence, coordination, and creativity through movement in a fun, supportive environment. Classes generally last 1–1.5 hours and may begin between 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Two or more days per week are preferred; the listing indicates approximately 2–5 hours of work weekly. Pay is $50–$65 per class in the role details and is also listed as $50–$65 per hour in the compensation section. The teacher will attend up to two days of unpaid training or shadowing to learn the program. Candidates must be local to the United States or already have the required work visa; the employer does not provide visa assistance. The position is in person at assigned Bay Area elementary schools.

Requirements

At least 19 years old.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Enjoy working with children and be able to manage a class.
Be reliable, punctual, flexible, professional, and enthusiastic.
Have strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
Have reliable transportation across assigned Bay Area locations.
Be able to complete required employment screening and documentation.
Be fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
Be local to the United States or already have the necessary work visa; the employer does not provide visa assistance.

Nice To Haves

Dance teaching or performance experience is preferred but not required.
Availability for two or more days per week is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage classes of approximately 8–10 students ages 5–10 in grades K–5.
Teach age-appropriate dance activities and routines in a fun, supportive environment.
Attend up to two days of unpaid training or shadowing to learn the program.
Prepare and set up required equipment.
Take attendance and manage student sign-in and sign-out.
Communicate with parents and school staff as needed and provide constructive feedback on student progress.
Take session photos following program guidance.
