About The Position

West Valley Dance Company (WVDC), a subdivision of Action Day Schools, provides professional dance education for dancers of all ages and skill levels at studios in San Jose, Willow Glen, and Mountain View. The company emphasizes creativity, connection, growth, child development, confidence building, and community. Instructors teach dancers from 18 months to 18 years old, helping them build technique, confidence, discipline, and a lifelong love of dance.

This part-time role teaches jazz, ballet, tap, and hip hop classes. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Compensation is $25–$40 per hour, depending on experience, education, and position requirements. Benefits are available to employees working 30 or more hours per week.

• Strong dance background and a genuine passion for dance and teaching.

• Reliable transportation for travel between Bay Area studio locations.
