About The Position

Euro School of Tennis is seeking an enthusiastic After-School Dance Teacher to lead engaging dance classes for elementary school students across various Bay Area schools. The teacher will help children ages 5–10 in grades K–5 build confidence, coordination, and creativity through movement. Classes typically last 1–1.5 hours and generally start between 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The schedule is approximately 2–5 hours per week, with two or more days per week preferred. Compensation is $50–$65 per class in the posting and is also listed as $50–$65 per hour.

The position is part-time and in person. Candidates must be local to the US or already hold the necessary work visa; the employer does not provide visa assistance. Candidates must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 and able to complete required employment screening and documentation.

Requirements

• Be at least 19 years old.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Enjoy working with children and be able to manage a class.
• Be reliable, punctual, flexible, professional, and enthusiastic.
• Have strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Have reliable transportation across assigned Bay Area locations.
• Be able to complete required employment screening and documentation.
• Be fully vaccinated against Covid-19.

Nice To Haves

• Dance teaching or performance experience.
• Availability to work two or more days per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage classes of approximately 8–10 students ages 5–10 in grades K–5.
• Teach age-appropriate dance activities and routines in a fun, supportive environment.
• Attend up to two days of unpaid training or shadowing to learn the program.
• Prepare and set up required equipment.
• Take attendance and manage student sign-in and sign-out.
• Communicate with parents and school staff as needed and provide constructive feedback on student progress.
• Take session photos following program guidance.
