About The Position

Euro School of Tennis is seeking an enthusiastic After-School Dance Teacher to lead engaging dance classes for elementary school students at various schools across the Bay Area. The role helps children build confidence, coordination, and creativity through movement in a fun, supportive environment. Classes typically include 8–10 students ages 5–10 in grades K–5 and last 1–1.5 hours. They may begin between 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The listing describes approximately 2–5 hours of work weekly and prefers availability on two or more days per week. The position is part-time and in person. Pay is listed as $50–$65 per class and $50–$65 per hour. The coach attends up to two days of unpaid training or shadowing to learn the program. Candidates must be local to the US or already have the necessary work visa; the employer does not provide visa assistance.

Requirements

Be at least 19 years old.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Enjoy working with children and be able to manage a class.
Be reliable, punctual, flexible, professional, and enthusiastic.
Have strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
Have reliable transportation across assigned Bay Area locations.
Be able to complete required employment screening and documentation.
Be fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
Be local to the US or already hold the necessary work visa; the employer does not provide visa assistance.

Nice To Haves

Dance teaching or performance experience, though it is not required.
Availability two or more days per week.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage dance classes of approximately 8–10 students ages 5–10 in grades K–5.
Teach age-appropriate dance activities and routines in a fun, supportive environment.
Attend up to two days of unpaid training or shadowing to learn the program.
Prepare and set up required equipment.
Take attendance and manage student sign-in and sign-out.
Communicate with parents and school staff as needed and provide constructive feedback on student progress.
Take session photos in accordance with program guidance.
