About The Position

As a Kids Club Teammate at Fitness Connection, you will provide a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children while their parents work out. You will supervise children, uphold safety and care policies, communicate with parents, maintain a clean and orderly play area, and support the Kid’s Club Supervisor and Club Manager with daily operations. The role calls for a nurturing, positive approach and the ability to stay calm and organized in a dynamic setting.

Requirements

Passion for working with children and creating positive experiences for them.
Ability to multitask in a dynamic setting while maintaining a calm and organized atmosphere.
Strong communication skills and the ability to address parents’ inquiries professionally and with care.
Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed.
Infant and Child First Aid and CPR & AED certification required within 90 days of employment.
Ability to meet physical demands, including lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, squatting, and moving quickly around obstacles.

Responsibilities

Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain a secure environment.
Verify that each child is signed in and out by the same parent or legal guardian.
Supervise activities and keep children in the designated safe area.
Maintain accurate records of children present in the Kid’s Club.
Distribute Kid’s Club policies to parents and guardians.
Provide attentive care, including support with personal hygiene needs as necessary.
Communicate with parents about their child’s day, including significant behaviors or incidents.
Maintain a friendly and positive attitude toward children and guardians.
Regularly clean and sanitize the Kid’s Club area and toys.
Keep the play area orderly and safe, and report damaged toys, equipment, or other safety concerns.
Manage supplies inventory and ensure necessary items are stocked and clean.
Attend and participate in required training sessions and staff meetings.
Support the Kid’s Club Supervisor and Club Manager with daily operations and special situations.
Promptly report accidents or incidents to the supervisor and complete necessary documentation.
Continue learning to improve childcare and safety-protocol skills.
