About The Position

Join Fitness Connection as a Kids Club Teammate and provide a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children while their parents work out. The role involves supervising children, maintaining accurate attendance records, communicating with parents and guardians, and keeping the Kid’s Club area clean, orderly, and safe. The teammate supports the Kid’s Club Supervisor and Club Manager with daily operations and special situations, reports incidents, and participates in required training and staff meetings.

Requirements

• Passion for working with children and creating a positive impact on their experiences.
• Ability to multitask in a dynamic setting while maintaining a calm and organized atmosphere.
• Strong communication skills and ability to respond to parents’ inquiries professionally and with care.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• Infant and Child First Aid and CPR & AED certification required within 90 days of employment.
• Ability to meet physical demands, including lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, squatting, and moving quickly around obstacles.

Responsibilities

• Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain a secure environment.
• Ensure each child is signed in and out by the same parent or legal guardian.
• Supervise activities and keep children in the designated safe area.
• Maintain accurate records of children present in the Kid’s Club.
• Distribute Kid’s Club Policies to parents and guardians and explain safety and care standards.
• Provide attentive care, including supporting children with personal hygiene needs as necessary.
• Communicate with parents about their child’s day, including significant behaviors or incidents.
• Maintain a friendly and positive attitude toward children and guardians.
• Regularly clean and sanitize the Kid’s Club area and toys.
• Keep the play area orderly and safe, monitor toys and equipment, and report damage or safety concerns.
• Manage supplies inventory and ensure necessary items are stocked and clean.
• Attend and participate in required training sessions and staff meetings.
• Support the Kid’s Club Supervisor and Club Manager with daily operations and special situations.
• Promptly report accidents and incidents to the supervisor and complete necessary documentation.
• Continue learning to improve childcare and safety-protocol knowledge and skills.
