Kids Club Attendant
About The Position
St. Andrew's Parish Parks & Playground Commission is seeking caring, dependable, and energetic Kids Club Attendants at Family Fitness Plus. The role provides a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children ages 12 weeks through 12 years while their parents or guardians use the fitness center. This is a seasonal part-time position with shifts available Monday through Thursday from 3:45 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. and Saturday from 8:15 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Starting pay is $17.00 per hour. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of required pre-employment screenings, which may include background checks, employment eligibility verification, and post-offer drug screening. St. Andrew's Parish Parks and Playground Commission is an at-will and equal opportunity employer.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- CPR/First Aid/AED certification is required, or the ability to obtain it.
- Darkness2Light - Stewards of Children certification is required; it can be provided in-house.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with children is preferred.
- Childcare certifications are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Supervise children in a safe and nurturing environment.
- Lead games, crafts, and age-appropriate activities.
- Welcome families and assist with check-in and check-out procedures.
- Clean and sanitize toys and childcare areas.
- Maintain a positive atmosphere while following all safety policies and procedures.
