About The Position

St. Andrew's Parish Parks & Playground Commission is seeking caring, dependable, and energetic Kids Club Attendants at Family Fitness Plus. The role provides a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children ages 12 weeks through 12 years while their parents or guardians use the fitness center. Available shifts are Monday–Thursday, 3:45 p.m.–7:45 p.m., and Saturday, 8:15 a.m.–11:45 a.m. Starting pay is $17.00 per hour.

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of required pre-employment screenings, which may include background checks, employment eligibility verification, and post-offer drug screening. St. Andrew's Parish Parks and Playground Commission is an equal opportunity and at-will employer.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• CPR/First Aid/AED certification is required, or the ability to obtain it.
• Darkness2Light - Stewards of Children certification is required; it can be provided in-house.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with children is preferred.
• Childcare certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children in a safe and nurturing environment.
• Lead games, crafts, and age-appropriate activities.
• Welcome families and assist with check-in and check-out procedures.
• Clean and sanitize toys and childcare areas.
• Maintain a positive atmosphere while following safety policies and procedures.
