About The Position
The Kids Club Attendant serves infants, toddlers, and school-age children by providing a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment. The role includes leading age-appropriate activities that keep children active and introducing them to the YMCA’s values of honesty, caring, respect, and responsibility. Attendants help ensure children’s health, welfare, and safety while maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the center and communicating with children, parents, the director, and other staff.

Responsibilities
- Provide excellent, genuine care for infants, toddlers, and school-age children.
- Create a safe and welcoming atmosphere and maintain center cleanliness, sanitation, organization, and appearance.
- Lead organized, age-appropriate activities, including crafts and physical activities.
- Maintain open communication with children, parents, the director, and other staff.
- Be friendly, approachable, and welcoming to children and parents.
- Be responsible for the health, welfare, and safety of children in Kids Club.
- Complete required abuse risk management training.
- Follow policies and procedures for high-risk activities and appropriate supervision boundaries.
- Report suspicious or inappropriate behaviors and policy violations to a supervisor.
- Follow mandated abuse reporting requirements to authorities.
