About The Position

The Kids Club Attendant creates a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children at the facility. The role involves supervising children during activities, supporting their safety and well-being, and facilitating age-appropriate games and educational experiences. The attendant serves as a positive role model and encourages social interaction, creativity, and physical activity. They work with parents and staff to address concerns and share updates about children’s participation and well-being, helping create a welcoming atmosphere that supports children’s developmental needs and enjoyment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with children in a childcare, educational, or recreational setting.
• Basic knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities.
• Ability to pass background checks and comply with health and safety regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to safety and detail.
• Creativity and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

• Certification in CPR and First Aid for children.
• Previous experience as a Kids Club Attendant or in a similar childcare role.
• Training or coursework in early childhood education or child psychology.
• Ability to speak a second language to support diverse families.
• Experience working with children with special needs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor children at all times to ensure their safety and well-being.
• Plan and lead engaging activities that promote learning, creativity, and physical movement.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and child-friendly environment in the Kids Club area.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child’s experience and any incidents.
• Follow safety policies, procedures, and licensing requirements relevant to childcare.
