Performs the functions of a children's specialist and maintains the daily Kids Club operations consistent with the goals and directives of the Recreation Supervisor. They will assist with the organization and execution of all children's activities, family and children's events. This role requires the ability to interact with children ages 6 months to 12 years of age, at varying levels of physical abilities. The attendant is responsible for opening and closing the child services area at the Recreation Center, planning, developing, and executing various fun and educational children's activities, and ensuring all children participating in activities are signed in and that the responsible parent/guardian has signed a liability waiver. They will also provide a list of required materials and supplies to the Recreation Supervisor, set up and break down activities, and attend special events as needed. The attendant must be available to work weekends and holidays and supervise up to 6-8 children at a time while maintaining a daily, interactive, and age-friendly routine. Additionally, they will assist with maintaining the Kids Club room, Teen Room, and restroom in a clean, neat, and orderly fashion, keeping both Kids Club and storage areas neat and in safe, working order. The role requires embodying a "play well with others" demeanor, maintaining a positive "can-do" attitude, and demonstrating a proactive, team-centered approach. The attendant will deliver "I Am Proud" service standards and department-specific signature touch points, establishing cross-departmental channels of communication. The role involves working an 8-hour shift and greeting guests with "I Am Proud" standards, providing extraordinary service that is "Enriching by Nature," embracing and encouraging wellness, upholding the resort's brand, culture, vision, mission, and values, and being empowered to resolve issues. The attendant will give guests a fond farewell, address feedback using the LEARN Model, demonstrate professional appearance, and comply with company policies and safety guidelines. Marginal functions include performing other duties as assigned, interfacing positively with other departments, and displaying care in the use of equipment and maintaining an organized work environment.
