About The Position

Equinox is seeking energetic, creative, and enthusiastic Kids' Club Associates for its fitness clubs in New York City. The role involves working with children in a professional, exclusive fitness-club environment. Associates help provide a safe, comfortable, and interactive setting for children while delivering a high level of customer service to members, prospective members, and guests. The position requires regular and predictable attendance and availability for opening, closing, and mid-day shifts. Other related duties may be assigned as needed to support department operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience working with children of multiple age ranges in a group setting.
• At least one year of experience working with young children.
• CPR certification, or willingness to obtain certification within 30 days of employment.
• Warm and patient demeanor, with excellent communication and multitasking skills.
• Must be over the age of 18.
• Must be able to work opening, closing, and mid-day shifts.
• Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
• Must be able to perform essential physical activities including standing, sitting, running, walking, jumping, squatting, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• College degree or college credits in a field related to child development, or equivalent life experience.

Responsibilities
