About The Position

Kids Care staff are responsible for providing a safe, loving, and Christ-centered environment for kids during Thursday morning and/or evening adult Bible Studies and other church events. Christ Chapel’s Mission: “To stretch every involved person from the threshold of their spiritual pilgrimage toward becoming a fully-developing follower of Christ” (Col 1:28-29).

Requirements

Must be a Christian
Model Christian behavior and values, serving as a positive example to the kids.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Have a genuine love for working with kids and a desire to provide them with a positive and nurturing environment.
Display a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to interact effectively with kids and parents.
Demonstrate patience, flexibility, and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and needs.
Have a desire to serve in a Christ-centered environment.
Must be able to pass a background check and maintain the high standard.

Nice To Haves

CPR and first aid certification
Previous childcare experience

Responsibilities

Providing a safe, loving, and Christ-centered environment for kids during Thursday morning and/or evening adult Bible Studies and other church events.
Caring for kids from birth to 5 years in the mornings and birth through 4th grade in the evenings.
Working either Christmas Eve services or Saturday Easter services.
Working additional opportunities throughout the year during other church events, including events at other CCBC campuses.

Benefits

Part-time position with a pay rate of $15.00 per hour.
Opportunities for additional hours during special events with approval.
Kids Care for your kids during the time you work. (Birth to 5 years on Thursday mornings and birth to 4th grade on Thursday evenings.)
