About The Position

Kids Care staff are responsible for providing a safe, loving, and Christ-centered environment for kids during Thursday morning and/or evening adult Bible Studies and other church events. The mission of Christ Chapel is “To stretch every involved person from the threshold of their spiritual pilgrimage toward becoming a fully-developing follower of Christ” (Col 1:28-29).

Requirements

• Must be a Christian.
• Model Christian behavior and values, serving as a positive example to the kids.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Have a genuine love for working with kids and a desire to provide them with a positive and nurturing environment.
• Display a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to interact effectively with kids and parents.
• Demonstrate patience, flexibility, and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and needs.
• Have a desire to serve in a Christ-centered environment.
• Must be able to pass a background check and maintain the high standard.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and first aid certification preferred but not required.
• Previous childcare experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, loving, and Christ-centered environment for children.
• Care for children from birth to 5 years old during Thursday mornings.
• Care for children from birth through 4th grade during Thursday evenings.
• Work either Christmas Eve services or Saturday Easter services.
• Be available for additional opportunities to work during other church events throughout the year, including events at other CCBC campuses.

• Part-time position with a pay rate of $15.00 per hour.

• Kids Care for your kids during the time you work. (Birth to 5 years on Thursday mornings and birth to 4th grade on Thursday evenings.)
