About The Position

The Kids Academy Supervisor enforces and provides best-in-class engagement and play for children ages three months to 11 years in the Academy and classes. The role manages and implements safe, fun, and entertaining activities and games, while maintaining a welcoming and healthy environment for children, members, and guests.

The Supervisor also maintains operational documentation, audits and delegates cleaning checklists and staffing, promotes Life Time Kids programs, products, and services, and completes Team Member evaluations with feedback and coaching as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Complete all required Kids On-Demand Learning Certifications before the first day of work.
• Obtain First Aid and Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certifications within the first 60 days of hire.
• Complete all state or federal requirements before the first day of work.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with children.
• Ability to engage a group of children in an activity.
• Customer service skills and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet, acknowledge, and interact with members and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Engage children in interactive activities, including storytelling, organized arts and crafts, singing, and games.
• Monitor and interact with children to maintain a safe and healthy environment, considering toys, sports equipment, other children, and the surroundings.
• Maintain operational documentation, audit and delegate cleaning checklists, and manage staffing.
• Promote and sell Life Time Kids programs, products, and services.
• Complete Team Member evaluations and provide feedback and coaching as needed.
