KHP Mechanical Maintenance Techn (Non-Merit)
About The Position
The Kentucky Horse Park is home to many events throughout the year such as Breyerfest, Land Rover Three Day Event, Festival of the Bluegrass, Southern Lights and many others. Come join our team and experience these events first-hand. We are currently seeking applications for a KHP Mechanical Maintenance Technician. This position will perform the work in the following duties installing, repairing and maintaining air conditioning; heating; ventilation and electrical and plumbing systems. The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong work ethic, work well with a team and be highly motivated to get the job done.
Requirements
- Two years of experience in the maintenance or repair of HVAC, refrigeration, ventilation, or electrical systems.
- Formal training in one of the above or related fields will substitute for the experience on a year-for-year basis
- Must be 18 years of age

Responsibilities
- Installs, repairs and maintains the air conditioning, heating, refrigeration, ventilation and electrical and plumbing systems
- Monitors the mechanical and plumbing systems to ensure proper operations
- Inspects and checks the working performance of equipment according to specifications
- Keeps basic records of work performed on such systems
- Other duties as assigned or needed
