Part Time Key Holder - Cotton On Kids Glendale Shopping Centre
About The Position
Cotton On Kids is hiring a part-time Key Holder at Glendale Shopping Centre. The role is part of store management and involves opening and closing the store, leading the team, delivering customer service, and supporting day-to-day retail operations. The Key Holder is expected to collaborate with colleagues, maintain a professional and respectful presence, and motivate and inspire others. The position is hourly paid at $20.00–$23.00 per hour. Cotton On is a global fashion and lifestyle retailer whose purpose is to make a positive difference in people’s lives. Cotton On Kids offers baby, kids, and tween fashion ranges and gift solutions. Requirements
- Retail experience; fast fashion experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate to drive results as a team.
- Awareness and understanding of basic retail principles, including sales, stock, and store service delivery.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
- Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of retail sales experience.
- At least 1 year of acting retail leadership or management experience, including opportunities to lead aspects of the business and develop team members.
- Ability to move around the store throughout the shift or workday.
- Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to regularly squat and kneel.
- Ability to safely use a ladder, step stool, or raised platform to complete required tasks.

Responsibilities
- Open and close the store in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Lead the store team as part of management.

- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.

- Support loss prevention efforts and report unusual activity.

- Train and mentor new associates as needed.

- Treat customers, managers, and peers respectfully.
