About The Position

As a Barista Sales Associate and Keyholder in the Coffee Marketplace, you will support daily operations by preparing beverages and food, engaging with guests, and assisting with store activities. The role is suited to someone who enjoys coffee and food, works well in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to excellent guest service.

The position includes preparing and serving coffee, espresso, smoothies, and other café offerings; maintaining cleanliness and food safety; sharing product knowledge; assisting with cashiering, stocking, and merchandising; and collaborating with the team to meet service and sales goals. A valid food handler certificate is required upon hire or within 30 days of the start date. Approved food safety training will be available, and the company may cover certification costs upon successful completion. Current certification is a condition of continued employment.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Valid Food Handler Certificate upon hire or within 30 days of the start date; certification must be kept current.
• Ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
• Commitment to following health department standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to stand and walk frequently and remain actively engaged throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to occasionally reach, climb, kneel, or crouch.

Nice To Haves

• Previous barista, food service, or retail experience.
• A current food handler card.
• Interest in learning about coffee and specialty beverages.

Responsibilities
