About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Key Account Specialist to join Galdisa USA. This role is responsible for developing and managing customer relationships, driving sales growth, and supporting both retail and ingredient portfolios within assigned territories. The ideal candidate is experienced in account management, sales strategy, and customer engagement within the food, retail, or consumer packaged goods industries. This position offers an opportunity to work closely with customers, brokers, operations, and leadership to help expand market presence and strengthen long-term partnerships.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in sales and account management
  • Experience in the food industry, retail sales, or consumer packaged goods preferred
  • Background in field sales, contract negotiations, and customer relationship management
  • Experience preparing presentations and managing bid/RFP processes
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building abilities
  • High level of professionalism and emotional intelligence
  • Strong planning, reporting, and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced sales environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams)
  • Experience with CRM systems; NetSuite experience is a plus
  • Bilingual Spanish required (speak, read, and write)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow relationships with prospective and existing customers
  • Present and promote Galdisa’s retail and ingredient portfolios
  • Manage customer accounts, pricing quotes, contracts, and negotiations
  • Prepare and execute RFQ/RFP/Bid submissions
  • Maintain strong communication with customers regarding products, pricing, and services
  • Achieve assigned sales quotas and KPI objectives
  • Provide regular reporting, forecasting, and sales analysis to leadership
  • Collaborate with Customer Service, Operations, Technical, and Accounting teams
  • Attend trade shows, customer meetings, and industry events
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitive activity, and customer opportunities
  • Assist with merchandising, planning, and promotional activities
