About The Position

Mobility is the goal. As a Key Account Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring billing accuracy and efficiency, as well as driving improvements in collections. This role involves preparing daily invoicing, ensuring timely and accurate billing in accordance with customer contracts, and managing special billing rates. You will also be responsible for uploading invoices to third-party platforms, resolving rejected or held invoices, and liaising with customers and internal teams to resolve disputes. The goal is to improve DSO, Bad Debt Expense, and AR Aging.

Requirements

  • Accounting/Finance/Business Administration or Associate Degree with additional work experience in billing or collections is required
  • 2-5 years general work experience

Responsibilities

  • Prepare daily invoicing for Key account customers
  • Ensure all Billings (EI and NI) are completed timely and in accordance with Key Customer contract terms and conditions
  • Responsible for accuracy of key customers special billing rates
  • Upload invoices to 3rd party billing platforms and provide required documentation including but not limited to work orders, purchase orders and time tickets as required
  • Responsible for driving improvement in DSO, Bad Debt Expense and AR Aging
  • Continually check invoice status in 3rd party platforms and resolve rejected invoices or invoices placed on hold by key customers
  • Involve key account managers, district offices and liaise directly with key customers to resolve key customer account invoice disputes
  • Set timeframes for resolution and monitor for completion
  • Communicate with key customers discuss discrepancies, investigate complaints, verify accuracy of charges, correct errors in accounts and confirm payment date
  • Provide statement of account to customers, Key Account managers and others upon request
  • Escalation of disputes to management as needed
