About The Position

The National Account Manager (Non-Commercial) for Flora Food Group Foodservice is a high-impact sales leadership role focused on driving growth and profitability within the GPO (Group Purchasing Organizations) and non-commercial sectors (e.g., Healthcare, Education, Senior Living, and B&I). This position is responsible for managing the full sales cycle, from strategic business planning to complex contract negotiations, specifically for Flora’s plant-based portfolio including iconic brands like Violife, Flora, and Country Crock and a new portfolio launch of our Red Barn full dairy portfolio.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Experience in Foodservice, broadline distribution, and Non-commercial channels.
  • Strong collaboration and negotiation skills.
  • Strong Planning and Analytical Skills.
  • Strong communication skills including verbal and written.
  • Understanding of P&L, financial projections, and financial metrics.
  • Knowledge of Sales Planning Systems.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Ability to travel - customer visits and team meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Lead growth within strategic non-commercial operator segments by working directly with GPOs (Sodexo, Foodbuy, Aramark) and large subgroups to drive compliance and conversion against negotiated contracts.
  • Develop and execute 1–3 year strategic growth plans and Joint Business Plans (JBPs) to achieve profit, volume, and distribution targets.
  • Direct complex contract negotiations and pricing agreements to ensure long-term, financially optimized results for the foodservice division.
  • Build and maintain deep, value-driven relationships with senior-level executives at key national accounts and buying groups.
  • Drive penetration of the branded portfolio (butters, spreads, creams, and cheeses) into new menu applications across non-commercial channels.
  • Partner with internal teams—including Marketing, R&D, Culinary, and Finance—to develop tailored product solutions and innovation strategies.
  • Analyze customer data, P&L performance, and market trends to identify incremental business opportunities and mitigate risks.
