About The Position

Location: Vandalia, OH (onsite) Vacancy Type: Existing Position Schedule: Full-Time As our next Key Account Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of developing strategic customer relationships and driving business growth within the Medical Device and Pharmaceutical industries. Your expertise in sales, business development, customer relationship management, and strategic account growth will be critical in expanding market presence, securing profitable business, and ensuring Johnson MedTech remains the partner of choice for key customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in sales, business development, engineering, quality, or project management
  • Demonstrated success in identifying and securing new business opportunities
  • Proven experience building and maintaining long-term customer relationships
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-management skills
  • Strategic thinking and commercial business acumen
  • Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship

Nice To Haves

  • Experience within the medical device, pharmaceutical, or bioscience industries
  • Background supporting product development, qualification, or customized product specifications
  • Aptitude for technology and motion systems applications
  • Experience using CRM platforms and sales management tools
  • Strong analytical and financial skills with the ability to evaluate business opportunities and risk

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research and develop strategic sales plans to penetrate new markets
  • Identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities and targeted accounts
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers, engineering teams, and quality organizations at customer sites
  • Execute proactive prospecting activities, including cold outreach to target customers
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Marketing teams to support customer requirements and product development
  • Prepare and deliver compelling customer presentations, business proposals, and commercial solutions
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, and commercial terms to achieve profitable growth
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives
  • Gather customer and market insights to support product strategy and business planning
  • Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and industry developments
  • Manage customer forecasting and account data to support planning and decision-making
  • Support and expand existing business within the surgical and medical device market segments
