About the role: The Key Account Manager (KAM) owns the performance and growth of strategic retail accounts, serving as the primary commercial lead responsible for driving revenue, distribution, and profitability. This role builds strong customer partnerships, executes best-in-class trade strategies, and ensures alignment across FFH’s cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a relevant field
  • Possesses at least 8 years of experience managing strategic accounts and delivering measurable commercial growth
  • Travel: About 50%, aligned with client engagement and account needs
  • Strong CPG and retail expertise with a track record of delivering results
  • Data-driven decision making with the ability to translate insights into action
  • High level of ownership and accountability
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration (Brand, Finance, Operations)
  • Customer-first mindset with excellent relationship management skills
  • Proficient in MS Office (Copilot-enabled), CRM, and ERP systems
  • Familiar with syndicated data (SPINS, Nielsen/IRI) and retailer portals
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working closely with high volume grocery retailers such as Walmart, Publix, Kroger, Albertsons to drive category growth and customer engagement

Responsibilities

  • Own account strategy and deliver against sales, distribution, and profit targets
  • Build and maintain strong retailer relationships, positioning FFH as a category leader
  • Identify and execute growth opportunities across assortment, shelving, and promotions
  • Lead new item sell-in and expand distribution aligned with account priorities
  • Optimize assortment using data-driven insights (velocity, productivity, incrementality)
  • Develop and execute account-specific trade plans to maximize ROI
  • Manage trade spend in partnership with Finance and Sales leadership
  • Ensure strong in-market execution through effective broker management
  • Own account forecasts and budget inputs with high accuracy
  • Align customer plans with Supply Chain and internal stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate pricing, promotional, and account documentation
  • Drive continuous improvement in execution, order accuracy, and internal processes
