Our Mobile team is looking for a Key Account Manager for a large agricultural, construction, turf care and material handling manufacturing customer with locations in the Twin Cities and around the country.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years business to business outside sales experience.
  • Strong project management mindset.
  • Effective negotiating, selling and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Good business acumen.
  • Ability to travel overnight ~30-40% of the time, or as required.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and pre-employment drug/alcohol test.

  • OEM sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • New business growth of system solutions, value added services and products to accounts.
  • Maintain current sales and margins with assigned key accounts.
  • Identify, develop and expand sales to assigned key account, its affiliates and locations.
  • Close sales and process orders through Customer Service using established Company policies, procedures and work instructions.
  • Lead and coordinate the presentation of Company strategies, programs, proposals and quotations to generate sales, following Company policies and supplier guidelines for pricing decisions included in proposals, making effective use of Company resources including people and time.
  • Continuously enhance knowledge of Company services and products, markets and customer applications to maximize our ability to satisfy customer needs.
  • Provide customer feedback to VP, Mobile regarding our level and quality of service.
  • Monitor customer disputes, returns and other problems, assisting with resolution in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain customer records, activity reports, pricing schedules and other business records as directed.
