About The Position

The Key Account Manager for the Michigan area will be responsible for managing and expanding relationships with strategically important clients. This role focuses on understanding client needs, delivering tailored solutions, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction to drive business growth. The successful candidate will act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, coordinating internal resources to meet client objectives and resolve issues promptly. They will analyze market trends and client feedback to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling. Ultimately, this position aims to strengthen client loyalty and contribute significantly to the company’s revenue targets within the Michigan region.

Requirements

  • Successfully completed Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electronics, Business Administration/Management or similar.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in account management or sales
  • Proven track record of managing key accounts and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel within the Michigan area as required.
  • Analytical skills are essential for interpreting sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities and tailor strategies accordingly.
  • Negotiation skills will be applied to secure favorable terms and close deals that benefit both the client and the company.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools will enable efficient tracking of client interactions and pipeline management.
  • Problem-solving skills are critical for resolving client issues promptly, maintaining satisfaction, and fostering long-term partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships with key accounts in the Michigan area.
  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters.
  • Coordinate with internal teams such as sales and product development to ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions.
  • Identify and grow opportunities within existing accounts to maximize revenue.
  • Prepare regular reports on account status, including forecasting and tracking key account metrics.
