About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a Key Account Executive to join our team in our Capital District/Albany, NY territory. The territory for this position covers Capital District and Albany, NY. The ideal candidate would reside within the territory. This role involves educating, instructing, and upselling to assigned and newly generated accounts, acting as a liaison between clients and the LabCorp operations team, and providing ongoing service and problem resolution. The Key Account Executive will ensure customer retention through superior service, recommend client-focused solutions, manage day-to-day client operations, and work to upsell the current book of business for organic growth. Collaboration with senior sales representatives is expected to grow the book of business, and continuous provision of educational material to clients is required. The role also involves resolving customer-related issues promptly and consistently meeting and exceeding monthly retention and upsell goals.

Requirements

  • High school or equivalent
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to travel overnight as needed
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Responsibilities

  • Educate, instruct, and upsell all assigned and newly generated accounts in an assigned territory
  • Function as a liaison between the client and the LabCorp operations team in relation to client needs
  • Provide ongoing service and problem resolution to customer base
  • Ensure customer retention by providing superior customer service
  • Recommend solutions that are client focused and persuasive
  • Provide account management for client’s day to day operations
  • Upsell current book of business to increase organic growth
  • Work closely with senior sales representatives to grow book of business
  • Continuously provide educational material to the client base
  • Resolve any customer related issues in a timely manner
  • Meet and exceed monthly retention and upsell goals on a regular basis
