Kettle Bell Ringer (8880)
About The Position
This position rings bells for The Salvation Army Christmas Program at assigned locations. The employee ensures the kettle is never left unattended and greets the public in a courteous and friendly manner. Job duties are conducted in accordance with the ministry of The Salvation Army and its Christian principles. The work is performed outdoors, with exposure to changing weather and discomforts associated with noise, dust, and dirt. Appropriate clothing is important for comfort. Duties are primarily performed standing, with brief or occasional periods of sitting or walking. A limited amount of physical effort involving lifting and carrying objects weighing less than 25 pounds is required for 5–10% of work time.
