About The Position
This position rings bells for The Salvation Army Christmas Program at assigned locations. The Kettle must never be left unattended, and the public should be greeted in a courteous and friendly manner. Duties are conducted in accordance with the ministry of The Salvation Army and its Christian principles. Work is performed outdoors, with exposure to changing weather and discomforts associated with noise, dust, and dirt. Duties are primarily performed standing, with brief or occasional periods of sitting or walking. A limited amount of physical effort involving lifting and carrying light objects weighing less than 25 pounds is required for 5–10% of work time. Appropriate dress is important for comfort.
