About The Position

The Kettle Bell Ringer rings bells for The Salvation Army Christmas Program at assigned locations. The position ensures the kettle is never left unattended and greets the public in a courteous and friendly manner. Duties are performed in accordance with The Salvation Army’s ministry and Christian principles.

This seasonal, full-time position is based at assigned kettle locations in the Columbus, Georgia area. The schedule is Monday through Sunday, 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., for 40 hours per week. The hourly pay is $10.00.

Requirements

• No formal education or experience is required.
• Ability to meet attendance requirements.
• Ability to perform duties standing, with brief or occasional periods of sitting or walking.
• Ability to lift and carry light objects weighing less than 25 pounds.
