About The Position

Kenworth in Bel Air is seeking mid-level to experienced diesel technicians to join their growing team. The role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work and diagnosing mechanical issues. The company is looking for reliable candidates with strong mechanical abilities, keen attention to detail, and the motivation to make an immediate impact. Prior experience with Kenworth trucks is a plus, but not required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Valid driver’s license required
• Diesel technician experience
• Strong work ethic and ability to learn quickly
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and recondition Kenworth trucks as directed by the Service Manager
• Diagnose malfunctions in hydraulics, electrical, and hydrostatic systems
• Perform welding and fabrication work as needed
• Recommend appropriate repairs and prepare cost estimates
• Maintain accurate records of repairs performed
• Communicate with the factory for technical assistance
• Stay current with industry trends and technical advancements
• Perform additional duties as assigned
