Requirements

  • Ability to hold pets safely
  • Ability to collect samples for tests such as urine
  • Ability to assist with procedures, taking radiographs and lab work

Responsibilities

  • Checking pets in/out including weights, temperature, checking for fleas, cleanup baths and brushing
  • Feeding and watering pets
  • Walking canines
  • Administering medications to pets
  • Bathing pets
  • Charting patient records
  • Cleaning kennels and all parts of the building
  • Holding pets safely
  • Collecting samples for tests such as urine
  • Assisting with procedures, taking radiographs and lab work
  • Other miscellaneous duties as assigned
