About The Position

The Pet Resort at Greenspring is seeking Full Time and Part Time Kennel positions. We are currently hiring enthusiastic team members to support our Kennel and Doggy Daycare. Work with a fun, dedicated staff with room for leadership positions, salary adjustments early on, and flexible schedules. Knowledge of animal care is a plus but not required. Most importantly, we are looking for individuals with a strong work ethic, leadership skills, and ability to learn quickly. Candidates of course must love working with dogs and cats, provide a high level of animal care, and contribute to a positive work environment. Daily Responsibilities Include: Feeding, providing yummy snacks, and ensuring there is fresh water Providing enrichment activities such as nature walks, snuffle mats, and puzzles Cleaning! With the fur flying and paw prints, we clean a lot! Light grooming such as bathing, nails, and ears (training available) Ensure the pets in our care are safe, well cared for, and loved Give extra love, snuggles, and belly rubs We love and treat the dogs and cats in our kennel as if they are our own. They give us as much love and support as we give them!

Requirements

Able to perform manual labor tasks such as but not limited to sweeping, mopping, cleaning runs and yard of animal waste, feeding and walking.
Maintaining a clean and healthy environment
Able to multi-task and be highly organized
You will work with dogs of all sizes, ages, breeds, and needs
Able to work weekends and some holidays
You will be required to lift up to 50 lbs. and be on your feet for extended periods of time
