About The Position

Camp Bow Wow Rockaway is seeking a dedicated and energetic Kennel Technician to join our team! • Prior experience in dog care or ownership is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure the safety, cleanliness, and happiness of our doggie day campers.
• Engage with dogs, providing stimulation and attention while standing for extended periods (3-4 hours).
• Handle and lift up to 40 pounds as needed.
• Maintain flexibility to work weekends and holidays, with opportunities for holiday flexibility if you've previously worked a holiday shift.
• Prioritize dog safety and provide exceptional care in a clean environment.
• Perform cleaning duties, including waste removal, and ensuring dogs are groomed and tidy.
• Continuously monitor play yards to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all dogs.
