About The Position

Washougal School District is seeking K-3rd grade teachers for its Summer School program. The program aims to help students entering grades 1st through 4th retain and enhance their reading and math skills. Teachers will provide targeted instruction through various methods including small group, whole group, and computer-based learning, fostering a positive educational environment. This is a per diem position.

Requirements

• Internal applicants only (current WSD contracted certificated employees)
• WA state teaching certification required
• WSP/FBI Background Clearance
• WA State Sexual Misconduct Inquiry

Nice To Haves

• Previous summer school experience preferred
• Elementary school experience preferred
• SONDAY experience requested
• State grade level preference on the “request for transfer” form. If interested in multiple grade levels, state in order of most desired to least desired.
