About The Position

Tutor Doctor is seeking experienced educators to work with K-12 students across reading, math, executive functioning, and test prep. Tutors will read and interpret student assessment results to identify specific gaps and inform instruction, applying targeted strategies based on those findings. Instruction should align with school curriculum while tailoring to each student's individual needs. Tutors will track progress and communicate consistently with families and the Tutor Doctor team. Special education teachers are strongly encouraged to apply due to their background in individualized instruction and working with diverse learning profiles. Tutor Doctor handles all client matching, scheduling, and billing, allowing tutors to focus on teaching with the flexibility to accept or decline matches.

Requirements

3+ years of professional teaching or tutoring experience
Bachelor's degree required
Ability to read and act on formal student assessment data
Must live in Marin County
Comfortable traveling to different parts of Marin County for student sessions
