K–12 Enrichment Instructor (Independent Contractor)

Concorde Education•Ann Arbor, MI
•Onsite

About The Position

Concorde Education is seeking individuals to join its network of independent contractor instructors for current and future K–12 school-based enrichment programs. Instructors share specialized knowledge and practical skills with students through part-time assignments at schools and community partner locations. A teaching certificate is not necessarily required; relevant experience in coaching, professional practice, tutoring, mentoring, youth development, or specialized instruction may qualify, depending on the program. Instructional areas may include technology and innovation; science and engineering; creative arts; academic development; games and critical thinking; health and recreation; and practical and career skills. Additional specialties may be considered as partner schools introduce programs. Assignments vary in schedule, student population, learning goals, materials, and requirements. Some provide curriculum, lesson plans, supplies, or instructional guidelines; others allow instructors to use their own expertise and suitable activities. Opportunities are generally part-time, typically involving 1–4 instructional hours weekly over 8–10 weeks, though schedules and duration vary by school program. Most assignments pay $50–$65 per instructional hour; actual rates depend on the specific opportunity and are communicated before acceptance. Opportunities are available throughout the academic year, but applying, screening, or setting up an instructor profile does not guarantee an assignment, hours, compensation, or future engagements. Engagements are subject to applicable screening and clearance requirements, school approval when required, and written confirmation of the specific assignment.
