K–12 Enrichment Instructor (Independent Contractor)

Concorde Education•Dover, DE
•$50 - $65•Onsite

About The Position

Concorde Education seeks independent contractor instructors for current and future school-based enrichment programs at K–12 schools and community partner locations. Instructors share subject expertise with students through part-time assignments that may introduce new interests, build practical skills, and extend learning beyond the traditional classroom. A teaching certificate is not necessarily required; relevant professional, coaching, tutoring, mentoring, youth-development, or specialized instructional experience may qualify, depending on the program. Programs may cover technology and innovation, science and engineering, creative arts, academic development, games and critical thinking, health and recreation, practical and career skills, and other specialties introduced by partner schools. Assignment schedules, student populations, instructional goals, materials, and requirements vary. Some programs provide curricula, lesson plans, supplies, or guidelines; others allow instructors to develop suitable activities using their own expertise and teaching techniques. These opportunities are generally part-time, commonly involving 1–4 instructional hours weekly over approximately 8–10 weeks. Schedule, duration, hours, and compensation depend on the individual assignment. The posting describes typical compensation of $50–$65 per instructional hour, while also listing a salary range of $50–$100 per hour; the applicable rate is communicated before an instructor accepts an assignment. This advertisement is for potential independent contractor engagements, not a guaranteed assignment or offer of employment. Applicants may be considered as programs become available and may be contacted about screening, documentation, profile setup, and onboarding. Assignments depend on qualifications, subject expertise, geographic availability, schedule compatibility, school-partner requirements, and program demand. Engagements are subject to applicable screening and clearance requirements, school approval when required, and written confirmation of the specific assignment. Applying or completing an instructor profile does not guarantee selection, hours, compensation, future engagements, or continued assignments.
