About The Position

Concorde Education is seeking individuals to join its network of independent contractor instructors for current and future enrichment programs at K–12 schools and community partner locations. Instructors share specialized knowledge and practical skills with students through part-time, in-person assignments. A teaching certificate is not necessarily required; relevant experience in coaching, professional practice, tutoring, mentoring, youth development, or specialized instruction may qualify applicants for consideration. Programs may cover technology and innovation, science and engineering, creative arts, academic development, games and critical thinking, health and recreation, practical and career skills, and other specialties. Each assignment has its own schedule, student population, instructional goals, and requirements. Depending on the program, instructors may receive prepared curricula, lesson plans, supplies, or instructional guidelines, or may develop suitable activities using their own expertise. Assignments are typically 1–4 instructional hours per week for approximately 8–10 weeks, although schedules, duration, and hours vary by school program. Compensation is typically $50–$65 per instructional hour; rates may vary and are communicated for a specific assignment before acceptance. Opportunities arise throughout the academic year, and assignments depend on qualifications, location, scheduling, school requirements, and program demand. Applying or completing screening and onboarding does not guarantee selection, hours, compensation, or future work. Engagements are subject to applicable screening and clearance requirements, school approval where required, and written confirmation of the assignment.
