About The Position

The JV Head Dance Coach is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day activities of the Dance Team. The coach fulfills Assistant Coach responsibilities in accordance with MSHSL training and guidelines and program values, as directed by the Head Coach and Activities Director. Compensation is in accordance with Schedule C of the Teacher Master Agreement.

Requirements

• Ability to motivate athletes in an educationally based atmosphere.
• Strong knowledge and experience in skill development, communication techniques, and conflict resolution.
• Dedication to a culture and vision that promotes furthering the benefits of co-curricular activities.

Nice To Haves

• Previous high school coaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the day-to-day activities of the Dance Team.
• Fulfill Assistant Coach responsibilities in accordance with MSHSL training and guidelines and program values, as directed by the Head Coach and Activities Director.
• Promote leadership in the program and community.
• Partner with the youth association to develop proper skill development.
• Support a culture and vision that promotes the benefits of co-curricular activities.
