The Juvenile Intervention Coordinator supervises, develops, and manages the Juvenile Diversion Program and the Lighthouse Program within the District Attorney’s Office. The Juvenile Diversion Program offers community-based alternatives to youth entering the juvenile justice system, aiming to counsel youth and parents, reduce recidivism, and facilitate behavioral change. The Lighthouse Program provides community-based alternatives for children, youth, and families at risk of entering the juvenile justice, criminal justice, child welfare, or truancy systems, with a goal of engaging, counseling, and supporting families for sustainable life changes.
