Supervises juveniles and provides security within the County’s detention facilities. This role involves maintaining group control during various activities, preventing escapes and behavioral issues, processing new juveniles, screening referrals, observing and addressing resident needs, assisting with positive attitude development through counseling, managing crisis situations, administering discipline, reporting unusual behavior, maintaining resident records, participating in shift meetings, performing searches for contraband, handling phone calls and visitors, providing information to parents, analyzing facility procedures, organizing activities, ensuring facility cleanliness, performing housekeeping duties, serving meals, and performing other assigned duties specific to the shift.
