About The Position

You will provide professional customer service, use technology to support access-control activities, and communicate clearly with the team. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, youth, and other authorized individuals by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry, visitor processing, and movement within the facility in accordance with established protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
  • Maintain accurate logs and documentation of visitors, access activity, incidents, and other security-related observations.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, access points, and the facility perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
