Requirements

• Two years of experience performing office, administrative, or clerical duties in a legal, court, or justice system environment
• High school diploma or GED
• Related post-secondary education will substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis

Nice To Haves

• Data entry experience
• Experience working in/with the criminal justice system

Responsibilities

• Use a computer to access and update case management systems (iCIS, JustNexus) in the main office or at a satellite office
• Answer inquiries and assist internal and external customers with electronic or physical case files or records requests, either in-person or by telephone
• Sort or classify information according to guidelines such as content, purpose, user criteria, or chronological, alphabetical, or numerical order
• Obtain information from courts and staff to update case files, court calendars, and case management systems
• Create digital case files and occasionally hard files, organize material, and affix labels
• Transport and destroy (shred) case files
