About The Position

Everett Operations is intentionally transforming how engineering supports the factory – moving from reactive, daily firefighting to a preventive, capability-driven model. This position would be a developing test engineer supporting an assigned product cell, added to relieve the overallocated test-engineering coverage. Builds first-pass-yield and test-development depth under the guidance of senior engineers and the Principal/Metrologist. This role entails supporting test development and fixture maintenance for assigned products, executing yield-troubleshooting and data analysis under general supervision, and supporting, maintaining, and improving test systems throughout the factory. The engineer will also assist sustaining and NPI test activities for the cell, document test methods, contribute to CAPA investigations, and validate test stations per existing processes. The position requires applying FBS Standard Work, participating in Kaizen, and ensuring conformance to the ISO 13485 / FDA 21 CFR 820 quality system. Job Leveling - Scope & Expectations: Knowledge & Expertise: Applies established engineering principles, standards, and procedures to defined problems. Building functional depth in the assigned discipline. Complexity & Problem-Solving: Solves problems of limited-to-moderate scope using prescribed methods; analyzes defined situations with established precedent. Autonomy & Supervision: Works under general supervision; receives detailed instruction on new work and guidance on most tasks. Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment and accuracy. Impact & Scope: Decisions affect own assignments and the immediate work cell; errors are typically contained and detected within the cell.
