About The Position

TSC is currently seeking a Junior Electrical Test Engineer in Huntsville, AL, to support the testing of next-generation radar and electronic warfare (EW) solutions. In this role, you will design and execute test infrastructure, scripts, and test cases for both hardware and software products using industry-standard automation frameworks. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Zero to two years of professional experience in the electronics industry. Relevant internships, academic projects, research, or co-op experience may be considered.
  • Working knowledge of Electrical Engineering.
  • Working knowledge of RF.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with radar, SIGINT, and/or electronic warfare product development.
  • Significant experience developing automated test cases with Python, and other similar languages.
  • Linux experience – environment, software development.
  • Working knowledge of SQL

Responsibilities

  • Support all phases of product test from lab prototyping, Verification and Validation (V&V), Qualification, through transition to manufacturing.
  • Hands-on lab testing of integrated electrical hardware and software systems.
  • Collaborate within a multi-discipline team of systems, hardware, mechanical, software, and firmware engineers to build complete solutions and products.
  • Assist in: Development Test plans, fixtures, and test interfaces for integrated electrical hardware/software products.
  • Assist in: Development and executing unit, subsystem, and system test cases.
  • Assist in: Developing test station software.
  • Assist in: Design, and build, the required electrical ecosystem for the device under test.
  • Conduct cost estimating for testing, test planning and execution, data acquisition, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Lead and execute testing events, develop test plans and procedures for hardware and software testing.
