About The Position

TSC is currently seeking a Junior Electrical Test Engineer in Huntsville, AL, to support the testing of next-generation radar and electronic warfare (EW) solutions. In this role, you will design and execute test infrastructure, scripts, and test cases for both hardware and software products using industry-standard automation frameworks. Support all phases of product test from lab prototyping, Verification and Validation (V&V), Qualification, through transition to manufacturing. Hands-on lab testing of integrated electrical hardware and software systems. Collaborate within a multi-discipline team of systems, hardware, mechanical, software, and firmware engineers to build complete solutions and products.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Zero to two years of professional experience in the electronics industry.
Relevant internships, academic projects, research, or co-op experience may be considered.
Working knowledge of Electrical Engineering.
Working knowledge of RF.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
U.S. Citizenship required.

Nice To Haves

Experience with radar, SIGINT, and/or electronic warfare product development.
Significant experience developing automated test cases with Python, and other similar languages.
Linux experience – environment, software development.
Working knowledge of SQL

Responsibilities

Support all phases of product test from lab prototyping, Verification and Validation (V&V), Qualification, through transition to manufacturing.
Hands-on lab testing of integrated electrical hardware and software systems.
Collaborate within a multi-discipline team of systems, hardware, mechanical, software, and firmware engineers to build complete solutions and products.
Assist in: Development Test plans, fixtures, and test interfaces for integrated electrical hardware/software products.
Development and executing unit, subsystem, and system test cases.
Developing test station software.
Design, and build, the required electrical ecosystem for the device under test.
Conduct cost estimating for testing, test planning and execution, data acquisition, data analysis, and reporting.
Lead and execute testing events, develop test plans and procedures for hardware and software testing.
