About The Position

TEKsystems INC. is seeking a technician to support infrastructure at a large data center. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications systems and equipment; inspecting and troubleshooting network issues; configuring and programming telecommunications devices; and helping ensure seamless network connectivity. The technician also provides end-user support, maintains equipment and service records, follows safety and industry standards, and keeps up with emerging technologies.

This is a contract position based fully onsite in New Carlisle, Indiana. The pay range is $22.63 per hour. The position is anticipated to close on October 31, 2026. The employer describes the opportunity as potentially leading to permanent employment. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in telecommunications or a related field.
• Knowledge of telecommunications systems, including routers, switches, and cabling.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to adapt to changing technologies and requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Technical certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair telecommunications systems and equipment.
• Perform routine inspections and troubleshoot network issues.
• Configure and program telecommunications devices and systems.
